Mason is built for the subcontractor.

You're at the sharp end of every contract — bearing the time-bars, the set-off, the retention, and the personal guarantee. Mason flips the script: it works for you, not for the people you're billing.

01 / The Problem

Subcontractors don't lose money on price.
They lose it on paperwork.

Every job carries a stack of strict notice periods, set-off rights and time-bars buried in the contract. Miss one and the entitlement is gone — quietly, permanently.

Six-figure claims
quietly walked away — not because the entitlement wasn't there, but because no one wrote the notice in time.

Most AS4000 special-conditions amendments shorten variation notice from "reasonable" to 5–7 calendar days as a condition precedent.

Most site teams
can't recall their variation notice period from memory — and they find out the hard way.

It lives on page 47 of the head contract appendix, never read after award, then surprises you when the MC says "too late."

Weeks pass
between a site instruction and a written notice — long enough to forfeit most claims.

Site teams text the QS. The QS is on three other jobs. By Friday it's buried in a thread and unrecoverable.

03 / How it works

Four steps from contract award to protected entitlement.

Setup takes about 12 minutes per project. The compounding starts immediately.

Step 01

Create the project, upload the contract.

Drag in the executed subcontract. Mason runs OCR if it's a scan, chunks the clauses, and stores them for retrieval.

Step 02

Get the risk register in minutes.

Time-bars, set-off, retention, dispute path — extracted, ranked and exported. Take it into the kickoff meeting.

Step 03

Invite the site team by phone number.

Site stays on WhatsApp. One number per project. They text what happened. Mason classifies, deadlines, and routes.

Step 04

Approve notices from the inbox.

The Outlook add-in surfaces the draft VO or EOT in the email you're already composing. Approve, send, logged.

04 / Claim taxonomy

27 grounds. Mapped to your contract's actual clauses.

Site team picks plain-English from the list. Mason translates to the clause-by-clause entitlement language your contract requires.
